As times have changed, classrooms in the UK have become increasingly crowded which has meant that teachers do not have the time to focus on the individual needs of each student. By teachers not doing so, some students have struggled to understand the basic concepts and techniques required to learn and pass GCSE exams which form the foundation of skills to begin work or explore further education.

Having witnessed this problem first hand, Excel Tuition was set up with the aim of providing students with the required tools to pass their GCSE’s and A levels at the first attempt, whilst making it affordable for parents concerned by their lack of progress.

Our first year in operation saw unprecedented success with 100% of the students we have worked with achieving an A to C in their GCSEs, in the majority of cases this was a 2 grade improvement.

Our Philosophy is very simple, not everyone learns the same, therefore we do not teach everyone the same. Our tutors use a range of communicative techniques and practical examples to engage learners and build confidence as they progress, we can also support students with Special Educational Needs.
